MONTHI FESTH 2026 — YOU WERE TRULY ONE FOR THE BOOKS!
Because MCA is more than an association. MCA is a family.
And when one family comes together with one heart and one spirit, something truly magical happens.
Thank you, MCA family, for making this day so beautiful, so joyful, so meaningful, and so unforgettable.
From the very first moment we gathered, there was something truly special in the air. The smiles, the laughter, the warm embraces, the familiar faces, the new friendships, the conversations, and the excitement all came together to create a day that we will remember for a long, long time.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to every single member who joined us and made this celebration come alive! Your presence was the heartbeat of our celebration. Every smile, every prayer, every conversation, and every moment shared made this Monthi Festh truly extraordinary.
From the Church to the Celebration…
A very special appreciation to the MCA Committee , who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and made sure everything was beautifully prepared—from getting the church and venue ready, arranging every detail, coordinating the procession, organizing the veneration with flowers, the beautiful flower showers, and the blessing of Novem.
And then came the heart of our celebration—the Holy Mass.
What a beautiful, prayerful, and meaningful Mass it was!
A huge THANK YOU to our incredible choir, whose voices filled the church with such beauty and reverence. The music elevated the celebration and touched our hearts in such a special way.
Thank you to everyone who helped ensure the Mass flowed so smoothly—from the readers and offertory participants to those coordinating every detail behind the scenes. Your dedication and preparation truly showed.
Following the Mass, a heartfelt thank-you note was wonderfully delivered by Neville , our Vice President. His warm and sincere words beautifully expressed our gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the celebration so meaningful and memorable.
And then… SMILES, SMILES & MORE SMILES!
Our group photograph captured something more precious than just a picture.
It captured US. One community. One family. One beautiful moment frozen in time.
And the energy kept rising!
A Warm Welcome to Our MCA Family
At the celebration venue, our Association President, Flavie Rebello, delivered a warm and welcoming speech to our one big family. Her heartfelt words set the tone for the festivities and reminded us of the strong bonds, shared traditions, and sense of belonging that make MCA so special.
A huge shout-out to our wonderful MC Lolita, who kept the celebration moving with excitement, enthusiasm, and infectious energy! You brought such a wonderful spark to the event and kept everyone engaged and smiling.Thank you !!!!
The Trivia Challenge—Fun, Laughter, and Friendly Competition!
The excitement continued with our lively trivia session, which brought out everyone’s competitive spirit! There were quick answers, surprising facts, plenty of laughter, and some wonderfully enthusiastic guesses.
It was fantastic to see members of all ages joining in, testing their knowledge, cheering one another on, and enjoying a little friendly competition. The trivia added so much energy and fun to the celebration—and proved that our MCA family is not only talented, but also wonderfully knowledgeable!
A big THANK YOU to everyone who prepared the questions, coordinated the activity, participated with such enthusiasm, and kept the excitement going. You made the trivia session a truly memorable part of the day!
The Vegetable Auction—Excitement, Bidding, and Big Smiles!
And then came the much-anticipated vegetable auction—what a highlight!
The atmosphere came alive as the bidding began. There was excitement in the room, laughter all around, enthusiastic bidding, and plenty of friendly competition. Every vegetable became a prized treasure, and every bid added to the fun!
It was wonderful to see everyone joining in, encouraging one another, and enjoying this unique and entertaining tradition. The vegetable auction brought out the playful spirit of our community and created some unforgettable moments.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who donated the vegetables, organized the auction, participated in the bidding, and helped make it such a lively and successful part of our celebration. Your generosity and enthusiasm truly made a difference!
And then came the food! Oh, the food! Delicious, mouthwatering, sumptuous and absolutely satisfying, Pothrade was a special delight ! And then came the sweetest finale! Vorn and Pineapple Sheera an absolute showstopper—beautiful, tempting, and packed with deliciousness! It was pure indulgence and the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable celebration. Because no Mangalorean celebration is complete without a little extra sweetness!
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who worked so hard to make sure our members were well-fed, happy, and taken care of.
AND THEN… THE ENTERTAINMENT! WOW!
The entertainment was fabulous, fantastic, energetic, and absolutely spectacular!
What made it even more special was seeing all age groups come together and perform.
Our little ones. Our youth. Our adults. Our seniors.
Everyone brought something unique, and together you created a beautiful tapestry of talent, culture, joy, and togetherness.
To every performer who stepped onto that stage—THANK YOU!
Your performances were captivating , having our audience cheering, clapping, smiling, and completely immersed in the joy of the day! you added a special spark that lit up the entire celebration !!!!!
As the celebrations slowly came to a close, we gathered together over steaming hot cups of tea and freshly fried, crispy fritters—the perfect combination of warmth, comfort, and pure nostalgia.
We ended our beautiful Monthi Festh celebration on a high note with the lively Baila dance! Filled with infectious music, joyful steps, laughter, and togetherness, it was the perfect way to bring our celebration to a memorable close. A true reflection of our Mangalorean spirit—where tradition, friendship, and happiness came together on one dance floor!
For a few beautiful hours, we weren’t just people attending an event. We were one big family.
And THAT is what Monthi Festh is all about.
It is about celebrating our faith, our traditions, our culture, our heritage, and the beautiful bonds that connect us.
ONE FAMILY. ONE HEART. ONE CELEBRATION.

Behind every beautiful moment was someone who planned, organized, coordinated, prepared, carried, arranged, called, reminded, volunteered, solved a problem, stayed late, arrived early, or simply stepped forward and said: “How can I help?”
That spirit of service is what made this celebration possible.
To every volunteer, every performer, every reader, every choir member, every coordinator, every food and hospitality volunteer, every person who helped with the trivia, every person who organized or supported the vegetable auction, every person who helped behind the scenes—and every member who simply showed up with a smile— THANK YOU!!!!
